United States of America’s 45th President Donald Trump faces another impeachment making him the first US President to be impeached twice while serving.
Donald Trump faces a one charge of ‘incitement of insurrection’ this came after mob of his protesters storm the US Capitol forcefully overpowering the police into the building in protest against formalization of president-elect Joe Biden’s electoral victory.
The events was recorded as the most shameful and clueless act in US history, it was reported that five people loose their life amid the protest including a police officer.
Donald Trump will be facing a trial which will be monitored by the Senates as they will be acting as jurors to either convict or acquit him.
If find guilty, Donald Trump will be remove from office of the president as his vice will emerge as the president before the inauguration of Joe Biden next week been 20th January.
According to the New York Times, it reports that the Republican Majority leader of the US Senate, Mitchell McConnell, was pleased about the move to impeach Donald Trump, speculating that Donald Trump’s party was looking to move on from him after the attack at the Capitol by his supporters.
He concluded by saying that Trump’s impeachment effort will make it easy to put him out of the party.
Before the impeachment proceeds, the House opined to Donald Trump’s vice president Mike Pence and the cabinet to uninstall Trump from power by appealing to the never-before-used 25th amendment applied by the constitution which will declare him unable to serve.
Mike Pence reportly rejected the request as the Democrats move and introduced the Article of impeachment on Monday.
